ASPR – EP-HIT-16-006 CFDA # 93.893

ASPR Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response leads HHS in preparing the nation to respond to and recover from adverse health effects of emergencies, supporting communities’ ability to withstand adversity, strengthening health and response systems, and enhancing national health security.

H-ISAC is an Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC), and with this grant, we will be able to grow and build upon our already existing infrastructure and to be self-sufficient. We will expand the scope of bi-directional information sharing and outreach to include Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the entire Health Care and Public Health (HPH) sector.

We will be able to build an infrastructure necessary to advance collection of cyber threat information and make this information readily available to HPH Sector stakeholders.

We have demonstrated that we are currently functioning as a cybersecurity threat sharing organization, and that we have an existing infrastructure and that we have the capability to expand and grow and we will continue to do so.

With these grants we now have, through HHS, complimentary resources that can support the ability of the HPH Sector to share information about cyber threats. We will receive the most up to date information on cyber threats and will have trusted access to government information and cybersecurity resources.
