In the wake of recent attacks on supply chains and critical infrastructure, Adrian Mayers says it’s time for cybersecurity to be seen as an issue of national defense, and that cybersecurity leaders throughout the private and public sectors must embrace their role to protect national interests.
In a video interview with Information Security Media Group as part of ISMG’s Cybersecurity Leadership series and part of its RSA Conference 2021 coverage, Mayers discusses:

Mayers is a cybersecurity, risk and compliance professional and an academic researcher. As the vice president and CISO at Premera Blue Cross, he is responsible for managing risk through information protection, threat detection, incident response and overall cybersecurity capabilities. He has held various senior management positions at Vertafore, Microsoft, Nokia and Securiguard.
