Healthcare Cyber Exercise Tops 300 Registrations as Operational Details Emerge

Operation Vital Signs, the national healthcare cybersecurity exercise first announced in March, has drawn more than 300 organizational registrations since enrollment opened in May. In addition, the sponsors have released new operational guidance that sharpens what participating teams will face during the July 21–22 event. The Health Sector Coordinating Council’s Cybersecurity Working Group (HSCC CWG) and Health-ISAC also confirmed a discussion-based tabletop format. Specifically, the scenario centers on trusted digital dependencies, identity infrastructure, and third-party reliance.
