2025 was a fantastic year for Health-ISAC
Not only did we celebrate our 15th anniversary, but we reached major milestones in membership, established round-the-globe threat coverage, and participated in a takedown that led to actual threat actor arrests. We published over 50 Medical Device alerts, white papers, reports, and hundreds of Targeted Alerts, had record attendance at summits, and held our first workshop in Latin America. Be sure to look for our 2025 Annual Report, which will outline many more achievements.
But we can never rest on our laurels. 2025 was also a record year for vulnerabilities, violence, and ransomware attacks, especially against third-party providers that cascaded and impacted clients as well as clients of clients.
Participating in Health-ISAC definitely delivers value and helps to ensure that sector organizations are resilient in the face of these threats. Of course sharing with each other and building vital relationships play essential roles in shaping the community and are part of the adventure. One of the best ways to do this is to attend a summit and/or workshop. We have many events around the corner and two I’d like to call your attention to are the APAC Summit in Bali in March and the Dublin workshop at ICON on February 3rd. Both are great opportunities to learn and to network. Bali will be extra special and we’ve got some amazing, ‘once in a lifetime’ events lined up as you can see in the newsletter. Plan now to attend or let your colleagues know about them. Make it your New Year’s resolution to be part of the adventure in 2026!
