This week, Health-ISAC^®‘s Hacking Healthcare^® examines a new Trump administration executive order tied to the recent update to the United States’ national cyber strategy. As we mentioned last week, it appears the Trump administration’s operationalization of the new national cyber strategy will at least partially come from a series of executive orders. Let’s examine how the first of these, Combating Cybercrime, Fraud, and Predatory Schemes Against American Citizens,^[i]may affect the health sector and what the formatting and approach might tell us about a future critical infrastructure protection executive order.
