Becker’s Hospital Review
Ransomware deployments were listed as healthcare executives’ and cybersecurity professionals’ top concern for 2025, according to a Feb. 18 report from Health-ISAC.
The findings are based on a November 2024 survey conducted by Health-ISAC, which gathered responses from nearly 200 healthcare executives and cybersecurity professionals. Participants ranked their top five cybersecurity concerns for both 2024 and 2025. The survey captured insights from leaders such as chief information security officers and non-cyber executives, including chief financial officers.
Respondents represented multiple sectors within healthcare, including providers, pharmaceutical companies, payers, medical device manufacturers and health IT organizations.
